Beijing et la Grande Muraille  (Great  Wall)

Avant que tout ces petites excursions ne soit relatées tardivement, je vous proposes de revenir sur mon week-end à Pékin. Motivation de dernière minute avec Laurianne, on va à la gare on trouvera bien un train. He bien non, un vendredi soir dans un pays peuplé de 1 milliard 200 millions habitants, le train de nuit Shanghai-Pekin est plein, on ne partira que le lendemain matin avec le train grand vitesse. 

Après un après-midi passé à visiter la ville, nous décidons de nous rendre le lendemain sur la Grande Muraille. On décide d'aller sur une des parties les plus éloignées pour éviter la foule de touriste "chinois". Sa nous prendra un certain temps, mais après une piqure d'abeille, une embrouille avec des Chinois et de dure négociations avec des taxis illégaux nous arrivons à Jinshanling, le jeu en valais la chandelle.

Before all my smalls trip are getting outdated, I am coming back this time on an epic trip to Beijing. Last minute motivation, we decided with Laurianne to grab a night-train, unfortunately in a country populated of 1 Billion 2 Million person, without reservation you don't go anywhere a Friday night. Departure postponed on Saturday morning with the high speed train.

After an afternoon spend chilling and discovering the city, we decided to reach the Great Wall the next day. We choose a part situated far-away hoping getting away from tourist crowed. Took us a while, but after a bee-bite, an argument with Chinese and long negotiation with illegal taxi, we got to Jinshanling area and it was worth it.

Week-ends around Shanghai

Je reviens ici sur deux charmants week-end passés dans les environs de Shanghai.

La première excursion était à seulement une heure en train, pour aller visiter une ville d'eau. Elles sont nombreuses dans cette région de la Chine. Une petite escapade relaxante en comparaison de la vie trépidante de Shanghai.

Lets come back on two week-ends I spend around Shanghai. The first one was just an hour out of the city, in one of the numerous water-city of the region. It was good to get out for a day of the busyness of Shanghai and spend a day in a little quiet town.

Notre seconde expédition nous a mené au "Lac des Milles Iles", formé artificiellement par un barrage. 

Petite balade en bateau suivi d'une journée de vélo, pour ce week-end en immersion totale puisque aucune des 6 françaises engagées dans cette escapade pouvait aligné plus de 3 mots de Chinois; dans une ville ou seulement quelques personnes parlent Anglais.

The second week-end was at 4 hours of bus. We went visit the "Lake of  Thousand Island". We went for a small boat cruise and the next day for a bike trip around the lake. Funny week-end as we were 6 french girls, not speaking much of Chinese in a small city where no many people speak Chinese. Intense experience.
